Accuracy is not a marketing number. It is whether the score stays in the same neighborhood, and whether it measures the thing on the label.
Search results for “most accurate personality test” are usually a ranked list with invented precision. This page is a citation-shaped explainer, not a traffic farm.
We will not give Deep Personality an accuracy percentage. We do not have a house study that beats MBTI, Enneagram, or 16Personalities by a made-up margin.
What “accurate” can mean (one screen)
Two ideas get collapsed into that word:
Test-retest. If you take the same instrument again after a quiet interval, does the score stay in the same neighborhood? Continuous trait scores can shift a little and still be the same person. Type labels can flip when you sit near a cut.
Validity. Does the scale measure the construct it names? A Big Five extraversion scale should track social energy and stimulation, not “whether you are a good person.” A type description that feels true because it is broad is not the same as validity.
Those are research words. They are also the only honest ones available without a fake leaderboard.

The Big Five is the trait model used throughout academic personality research. Public-domain IPIP items (Goldberg and later IPIP-NEO representations) are how many labs and teaching sites administer a version of it.
MBTI and 16Personalities answer a different question: which type am I? Enneagram answers which core motivation story fits? Those can be useful. They are not IPIP-50 domain scores.

- A comparison is two real scores. Not a compatibility type.
